"ABHW means sisterhood. It connects you to women who may be different from you but who love you as sisters would. When things get hard, you have your ABHW sisters willing, able, and waiting to help. When you want to have fun, you don’t have to look very far.

ABHW means empowerment. While in ABHW, you gain a larger appreciation of what it means to be a black woman. You meet amazing women with incredible passions. They inspire you to want to do something great! I have truly found sisters in ABHW, and these sisters have been such a large part of my Harvard experience."
